Furballs' Broken Stone Seed Leaf

After using granite stitch and broken seed stitches in general combos in the past patterns, this time in Broken Stone Seed Leaf , we use the two stitch patterns in making up the common leaf motif.  I am pretty satisfy with the revival as it gives a different look than the normal stockinette background. In this piece, we keep the slanting line with the use of decreases and increases.  I love the look of the broken seed stitches in the leaf.  It echoes the horizontal line with the background granite stitches.  The purl bumps from the broken seed stitch is not as bold as the p2tog's from the granite stitches and make them both standout on its own. Difficulty level for this one:  furballs claimed they can do it with a flicker of their tails.
