Yarn,
worsted weight, non mercerized cotton, (0.6 oz. / 16.5 g, 26.3 yd. / 24.1 m)
Knitting
needles, straight, circular or double point, size 3.50 mm / US 4, one (1) pair
Scissors
and yarn needle
Gauge (Pre block, garter stitch in situ)

Working
on the RS and knit up to RDS in the pattern,
Step
1 Knit the first two (2) stitches
together on the left (holding) needle (+1). Do not drop the knitted
together stitches yet from the left (holding) needle

2 With the two (2) knitted together
stitches still on left (holding) needle, and using the right (working) needle,
